Road Safety

Consistently, throughout Ward 3, speeding and traffic remain a chronic concern.  Despite lower speed limits and calming measures such as speed bumps, some drivers continue to disrespect the law and the safety of their neighbours.

A priority identified in the business plan for 2025 is to implement a plan to enforce speeding limits with cameras. With the growing population, traffic will only increase, and along with it, problems around road safety. This issue needs to be urgently addressed. Education and enforcement are key. Community safety is my top priority as an East Gwillimbury Councillor.
